Camp Woburn

Join us on one of our weekend training camps. With a focus on all elements of triathlon, you’ll train hard, eat well, have fun and enjoy great company. There will be opportunity to focus on individual goals, and you’ll leave the camp with clear ideas on how you can reach those goals.

Typical Itinerary

1830 – Arrival

1930 – Evening Meal

2030 – Workshop: Poise overview.


Saturday – Technique Day

0700 – Breakfast

0800 – Conditioning Session: 45 minute circuit session working on core strength.

0900 – Bike Session: 30 minutes working on the skills of riding as a group, then a 60 minute group ride at a sociable pace.

1100 – Run Technique: 60 minute session looking at different phases of your running technique with drills to practise and a tough conditioning set to finish off the morning’s effort.

1200 – Lunch

1400 – Swim Skills Session: 30 minute classroom based session followed by 60 minute swim at Pendle Leisure Centre. This will focus on specific areas of the stroke, and allow you to practise a range of swim drills.

1730 – Workshop: Preparedness. Goal setting for 2020.

1900 – Evening Meal


Sunday – Brick Day

0700 – Breakfast

0800 – Sportive. A hilly guided route around the beautiful local countryside. There will be two options: a 40km route and a 60km route.

1200 – Lunch

1300 – Transition Training: 60 minute coached session on all the skills needed for a slick transition.

1430 – 8km Hilly Trail Run.

1600 – Workshop: Reflection. What have you taken from the weekend? What will you do next to help you meet your goals for 2020?

1700 – End of the Camp



Our home for the weekend is Coldwell Activity Centre between Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire, and Colne in Lancashire.

Sitting in the Pennines, we have a large private training area for group activities, and immediate access to beautiful moors and hillside paths, while the local roads provide several options for guided bike rides.

Only twenty minutes from Hebden Bridge, Coldwell is easily accessible, but, after you've been here for ten minutes, you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.

Food and Accommodation


Camp Woburn will provide all meals, and they’ll be hearty and healthy. You are welcome to bring your own snacks, but rest assured we will cater for any nutritional requirements - just let us know when you book.

The rooms range from two- to four-beds, and we have fantastic communal areas for classroom activities, and for chilling out in between sessions. If you are booking with friends or family, please let us know when we book so we can make sure we meet your accommodation needs.
