Camp Woburn

Join us on one of our weekend training camps. With a focus on all elements of triathlon, you’ll train hard, eat well, have fun and enjoy great company. There will be opportunity to focus on individual goals, and you’ll leave the camp with clear ideas on how you can reach those goals.

Typical Itinerary

Friday 13th September

1830 – Arrival

1930 – Evening Meal

2030 – Workshop: 2020 Goal Setting. Where do you want to be?


Saturday 14th September

0700 – Breakfast

0800 – Sportive. A hilly guided route around the beautiful local countryside. There will be two options: a 90 minute ride, and a two-and-a-half hour route. Riders will be grouped by ability.

1000 - Optional Maintenance Session. Those who opt for the shorter ride will have a hands on session practising some basic bike maintenance - fixing a puncture on the move!

1130 – 8km Hilly Trail Run. Again, we will split into ability groups, and you can explore the local countryside at your own pace.

1330 – Lunch

1500 – Swim Skills Session: 60 minute session at Pendle Leisure Centre. This will focus on specific areas of the stroke, and allow you to practise a range of swim drills.

1800 – Evening Meal

1930 – Workshop: Athlete Profiling. Where are you now?

Sunday 15th September

0700 – Breakfast

0800 – Conditioning Session: 45 minute circuit session working on core strength.

0930 – Bike Session: Shorter ride of 60-90 minutes.

1200 – Lunch

1300 – Transition Training: 60 minute coached session on all the skills needed for a slick transition.

1400 – Run Technique: 60 minute session looking at different phases of your running technique with drills to practise and a tough conditioning set to finish off the day’s effort.

1600 – Workshop: Reflection. What have you taken from the weekend? What will you do next to help you meet your goals for 2020?

1700 – End of the Camp



Our home for the weekend is Coldwell Activity Centre between Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire, and Colne in Lancashire.

Sitting in the Pennines, we have a large private training area for group activities, and immediate access to beautiful moors and hillside paths, while the local roads provide several options for guided bike rides.

Only twenty minutes from Hebden Bridge, Coldwell is easily accessible, but, after you've been here for ten minutes, you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.

Food and Accommodation


Camp Woburn will provide all meals, and they’ll be hearty and healthy. You are welcome to bring your own snacks, but rest assured we will cater for any nutritional requirements - just let us know when you book.

The rooms range from two- to four-beds, and we have fantastic communal areas for classroom activities, and for chilling out in between sessions. If you are booking with friends or family, please let us know when we book so we can make sure we meet your accommodation needs.
